Whenever i see a betting opportunity i will try to give a pick. This will be more like a POD and analysis for Greek and Cyprus soccer.

The first pick for the new season is at the UEFA Cup tonight between Xanthi and Dynamo. For whoever has followed Xanthi's games so far this is a pretty easy pick to understand.
The team has not responded well so far to the tactics applied by the coach and they haven't scored for 2 games now. Actually, they are a team which is more convenient for them to defend than to attack.
Coach Mantzourakis will field a 4-5-1 formation tonight, with main target not to conceed a goal and then score. It is remarkable that Xanthi has not scored yet when they play at Europe (4 games so far) and it is very likely to see a 5th consecutive game tonight.
On the other hand, i have a big respect for the Romanian teams and what they have achieved during the last two years. The way that Steaua performs so far, the good results of Rapid and Dynamo Bucharest last season are just some signs that Romanian football is really developing with a fast pace. Dynamo went to Xanthi in a completely different situation. They have 6 consecutive wins at the championship, according to the reports they play attractive football and they seem to have finally got over the resigning of Ioan Antone.
What to expect tonight? A typical first of two-leg game. Xanthi is very likely to protect the defence and take the minimum amount of risks(they always do) and Dynamo will try to avoid to lose and at the same time try to score a goal.
For me, is difficult to predict if there is going to be a winner or a draw but it will be a huge surprise to see more than 2 goals, given the fact that both teams know very few about each other.

I have watched both Australia-Greece and Turkey-Brazil games today but probably the people from bwin didn't. Greece is awful until now and they are lucky to have a perfect score. They steal the victory from Aussies doing absolutely nothing against a team which doesn't have anything special. Brazil on the other hand fought hard against young Turks and they nearly comeback from 12 points down.
The match is really important for Brazilians because now they have to win both their games. In contrast, the Greeks will focus on the last game against Turkey. It doesn't matter if they win or lose tomorrow. They will still need to win Turkey to get the first place.
Brazilians will fight the game till the last second and i don't think Greece is able to overcome this HC
